Marcy Sheldon

Marcy Sheldon has been practicing yoga since 1995. She graduated from Radiant Health Yoga teacher training in 2004 and is registered with the National Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level.

Marcy's yoga training has its roots in a holistic health practice that blends the ancient teachings of hatha yoga with contemporary body-mind science. It honors the inter-connections between body systems and mind states and facilitates wellness at all levels of being; body, mind and spirit.
Marcy believes her role, as a Yoga teacher, is one who aids and encourages students to listen, honor, and work with their bodies using the breath as a guide. Her classes are well balanced, including the qualities of flexibility, strength, and balance as well as time for centering and grounding, meditation, and relaxation.

She has been teaching traditional hatha yoga and prenatal yoga for four years.

Marcy offers an on-going pre-natal yoga series. $20.00 per drop in class or $180.00 for the pre-paid ten week series. This 13 class series begins May 23rd and runs through August 18th, 2009. Next 8 week series will begin September 12.
